About Olusola International School

Providing quality, inclusive, and affordable education from daycare through senior secondary school in a serene and nurturing environment in Iju, Akure North, Ondo State.

Our History

Olusola Schools, encompassing Daycare/Creche, Pre-school, Nursery, Primary, Junior and Senior Secondary School, was founded by Late High Chief Joshua Babalola and Chief (Mrs) Olusola Babalola. The founders sought and obtained government recognition and approvals for BECCE, WAEC, and NECO in the early 1990s. Following their retirements from federal and state civil service, they returned to Iju in Akure North LGA, Ondo State.

The school occupies a large, serene 5-hectare campus in a rural, peaceful community, providing an ideal environment for learning, free from noise and pollution. The school currently serves over 200 pupils across multiple classes that meet national and international standards.

Governance

Olusola International School is overseen by a dedicated Board of Governors and a School Management Committee (SMC), ensuring high standards of education and operational excellence. The active Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) fosters collaboration between parents and school staff. The school employs highly qualified, certified teachers to deliver quality education.

Holds BSc (Hons) in International Affairs from University of Ife (OAU) and M.Ed in Educational Administration & Planning from OAU. Married with children.

Mrs. Tokunbo Awesu - Legal Secretary

Graduate of Law (LLB) from Ogun State University and BL from the Nigerian Law School.

Mrs. Nike Abe - Board Secretary

Responsible for ensuring proper documentation and smooth coordination of board activities, promoting strategic decisions for school growth and excellence.

Adebayo Ebenezer Olusiji - Principal

Background in Mineral & Petroleum Resources Engineering (HND) and Geology (BSc). Pursuing a Master's at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, with a professional certificate in Project Management. Leads the school to create an inclusive, inspiring learning environment.

Ojo Adeola Oluwaseun - Vice Principal

B.Tech in Urban & Regional Planning with an Associate Certification in Project Management. Drives academic excellence, mentorship, and strategic planning for school growth.
